MEALS
All meals are included in price of hunt, and believe me, it’s good eat’n. Your first meal will be provided on the evening of December 2nd and your final meal will be a simple breakfast on the morning of December 7th. As much soda and water as you can drink will be provided. You are responsible for alcoholic beverages, but drinking/hunting policies will be enforced.

TAXIDERMISTS
Cross Texas Outfitters will take care of your taxidermy needs. If you would like the head caped out, it will be frozen as necessary so that it is delivered to the taxidermist in excellent condition. Your head can be delivered to a local proven taxidermist who will have it shipped to you upon completion, or we can have it shipped to a taxidermist of your choice. Many other options are available that we can do ourselves, such as a European mount, or you may just want the antlers. We can have these shipped to you. See price list below for a list of fees.

MEAT CARE
Your meat will be handled properly. It can be taken to a local proven processer where it will be processed per your instruction, and shipped to you. If you would prefer, your carcass can just be quartered and shipped to the location of your choice. See price list below for a list of fees.

HUNTING LICENSE AND HUNTER EDUCATION TRAINING COURSE
All hunters are responsible for purchasing the appropriate Texas hunting license prior to arrival. Some of you may be required to go through a hunter’s education training course prior to hunting, depending on your age, and you must carry valid proof that you have completed this course. If you were born on or after September 2, 1971, you must successfully complete this course. This course can be taken online. Minimum age of certification is 9 years of age. This course can be deferred for those 17 years of age or older for up to one year, only one time. You must carry proof of deferral with you. Hunters age 9 to 16 may hunt without a hunter education certificate as long as they have a Texas hunting license and are accompanied by a Texas licensed hunter that is at least 17 years of age and has successfully completed a hunter education training course if required. Visit website at: www.tpwd.state.tx.us/learning/hunter_education/  for more information.

PAYMENT POLICY
A deposit of $1,400.00 is required to book a hunt and can be paid by check or money order. A verbal commitment will be honored for 10 days. The deposit is non-refundable unless your hunt can be replaced at the standard price. We will make every attempt possible to help you replace your hunt, but it is the responsibility of the hunter that cancelled to replace the hunt. The remaining balance is due 30 days prior to the first day of the hunt. Please keep this in mind because you will not be sent a notice of final payment due. Cancellation of your hunt could result if final payment is not received by the 30-day period. We don’t want this to happen.
If you would like to rebook a hunt for the following year, a payment amount of $300 must be paid within 30 days of the completion of your hunt.

GRATUITIES
Gratuities for the guides and cook are very much appreciated but not required. We will work hard to make your hunt enjoyable, tip or not. Use your own discretion in determining what you feel is a fair amount should you decide to leave a gratuity.
